Key features of key switches

A key-operated switch is a switch that can only be activated with the use of a key and is normally integrated into an electrical circuit. When the key is turned, it creates or breaks the circuit, acting as an on-off key switch to enable or isolate the system. Where power isolation is required, a key isolator switch provides a secure and controlled method of cutting the circuit.

  • Range of key switches Key switches in this section include multiple pole switches, 5-disc and 8-disc key switches, Wafers, M.S switches, C.K switches and RPT switches.
