In support of the ongoing development of the UK city centre campus site, Coventry University recently opened a new Engineering and Computing Building to expand teaching and research facilities for students and staff.

Requirements for the building included an area of personal storage lockers that could be allocated to individual students and accessed using existing ID cards. The Pulsar RFID lock offered the perfect solution as the locks could be programmed to work on the same RFID frequency as the Student ID cards. In case of system failure or if immediate supervisory access is necessary, the RFID locking feature can be bypassed by use of the steel override key that is provided with each installation.

Pulsar can be used independently or paired with existing systems, such as access control systems, to provide contactless a contactless locking solution and comes with a wide range of accessories and options.
